Abstract

Entrepreneurship Education (EE) has become a strategic priority in Indonesian higher education, yet research on its effectiveness remains fragmented. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) aims to identify, evaluate, and critically synthesize recent empirical evidence (2015–2025) on EE implementation in Indonesia. Following PRISMA guidelines, 51 primary research articles were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal five dominant themes: (1) The dominance of psychological antecedents (e.g., self-efficacy, mindset) as key mediators of entrepreneurial intention, where EE rarely shows a direct impact; (2) A pedagogical shift from passive methods to active, practical experiential learning; (3) The centrality of the digital context, demanding technological competency integration; (4) An evolving research focus from measuring "intention" to more tangible "outcomes" (e.g., competence, behavior); and (5) Contextualization, critique, and the need for a holistic ecosystem. It is concluded that EE's effectiveness in Indonesia hinges on its ability to shape psychological mediators through practical, digitally-integrated pedagogy within a supportive, culturally-aware ecosystem. Future research must shift from cross-sectional studies on intention to longitudinal studies on tangible outcomes and expand its geographical focus beyond Java.
