This study analyzes the comparison of time and cost for wall construction using concrete block (batako) and lightweight brick (AAC block) in the Vila Demont construction project, Sanur, Denpasar. The research applied a descriptive quantitative method with primary data collected from labor productivity observation, material prices, and daily wages, supported by secondary project documents. The results show that the daily productivity of lightweight bricks is higher than concrete blocks, with 18.625 m²/day for masonry and 20.534 m²/day for plastering, while concrete blocks only reach 11.524 m²/day and 13.189 m²/day. In terms of duration, lightweight bricks are more efficient, requiring an average of 26 minutes/m² for masonry and 23 minutes/m² for plastering, compared to 41 minutes/m² and 37 minutes/m² for concrete blocks. In terms of cost, concrete blocks are more economical, with Rp 145,028.49/m² for masonry and Rp 55,761.30/m² for plastering, while lightweight bricks require Rp 148,976.58/m² and Rp 80,069.34/m². Based on productivity efficiency, time, and quality, lightweight bricks are considered functionally more economical for wall construction work.
