Abstract

In the private villa construction project of Mrs. Tiya & Mr. Tom Kemenuh, Gianyar, Bali, it was found that the position of the building was facing directly towards the waterfall and the building was made on the edge of the river with a slope that was 11 meters high and a slope that reached 75o. This study aims to determine the safety factor value of the slope stability of the existing conditions and slopes with bore pile reinforcement. The method used is Bishop's method with GeoStudio software (Slope/W) and Excel manual method. The results show that the existing condition slope has a factor of safety of 1.517 and with a loading of 10 kN/m3 and 20 kN/m3, the SF value decreases to 1.438 and 1.375. For slopes reinforced with bore piles, the safety factor value increased significantly to 1.653. With additional loading of 10 kN/m3 and 20 kN/m3, the safety factor value remained constant at 1.653, indicating that the bore pile reinforcement was able to maintain the slope stability despite the increased load.
