Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cost and time comparison between the use of bamboo scaffolding and metal scaffolding in the construction project of Villa Demont Sanur. A descriptive quantitative method was used with data collection techniques through field surveys and literature studies. The data were analyzed based on material requirements, labor productivity, material costs, wages, and project duration. The results showed that the use of metal scaffolding is more efficient in terms of both cost and time compared to bamboo scaffolding. The total cost of bamboo scaffolding was Rp19,311,711 with an installation duration of 3 days, while metal scaffolding required only Rp12,125,962 and could be completed in 2 days. Therefore, metal scaffolding is a more economical and practical choice for construction projects that demand high efficiency.
