EVALUASI PELAKSANAAN PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN UNIT SEKOLAH BARU SMK NEGERI 7 DENPASAR DARI ADANYA PEKERJAAN TAMBAH KURANG (VARIATION ORDER) TERHADAP BIAYA DAN WAKTU
Abstract
In construction project implementation, it is expected that all activities will proceed according to the initial plan in terms of cost, time, and quality. However, in practice, projects often face various on-site challenges that require work adjustments. One such adjustment is a variation order (VO). In the New School Unit Construction Project at SMK Negeri 7 Denpasar, a variation order occurred due to an error in the work method—specifically, the integration of the bouwplank with the project safety fence, which resulted in an elevation error on the first floor. This study aims to evaluate the extent of the impact of the variation order on project cost and time. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, utilizing primary data in the form of VO volume and duration obtained through direct observation, as well as secondary data including construction drawings, budget plans (RAB), time schedules, and unit price analyses (AHSP). The results show that the variation order led to an additional cost of IDR 63,668,284.11, representing a 0.675% increase from the initial total budget of IDR 9,432,000,103.86. Additionally, the implementation time increased by 18 days and 4 hours, although this did not affect the overall project duration.
