Abstract

This study aims to analyze the unit price of construction elements made from teak wood with traditional Balinese carvings in Gianyar Regency. The research focuses on three types of building elements: saka (columns), doors, and windows, which are essential parts of Balinese traditional architecture. The research was conducted using direct field observation and interviews with wood carving craftsmen. The data collected includes labor productivity, material requirements, and labor wages, which were then used to calculate labor coefficients and unit prices. The analysis results show that Balinese-style carving work has a high level of complexity that affects labor needs and production costs. The unit price for one set of saka is IDR 2,434,775.00 with a labor coefficient of 7.41 OH. The Balinese-style door work has the highest unit price at IDR 14,366,962.57 with a coefficient of 10.97 OH, while the unit price for one window is IDR 2,916,847.46 or IDR 5,833,694.92 per pair, with a labor coefficient of 12.32 OH. This research is expected to serve as a reference for cost estimation, project planning, and preparation of unit price analyses for traditional Balinese wood carving works.
