This study aims to analyze the reinforcement steel requirements and material waste percentage in the Dream Villa construction project in Badung Regency through the application of the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) method. Waste of reinforcement steel frequently occurs due to improper cutting patterns, suboptimal utilization of leftover pieces, and insufficient fabrication management. This research adopts a descriptive-analytic method with a comparative approach based on secondary data such as structural shop drawings, structural work specifications, and Indonesian standards SNI 2052:2017 and SNI 2847:2013. The analysis process includes identifying reinforcement requirements, preparing cutting patterns using AutoCAD, developing BBS tables, and calculating total length, number of bars, weight, and residual waste. The results indicate significant variations in waste among structural elements. Columns show the lowest waste, with only 0.04% for Ø8 stirrups, while the highest waste occurs in ring beams using D13 bars, reaching 25.75%. Pile caps also exhibit relatively high waste (9–12%), whereas sloofs and beams demonstrate better efficiency with waste ranging from 0.44% to 6.28%, depending on bar diameter. These variations are influenced by structural complexity, cutting length, bar diameter, and fabrication accuracy. Overall, the BBS method provides accurate and structured reinforcement calculations; however, field efficiency strongly depends on fabrication management, including cutting optimization, supervision, and reuse of leftover materials. Effective management can significantly reduce waste and enhance reinforcement steel efficiency in construction projects..
