Reinforcing Steel Requirements, Calculations, Villa Nyanyi 4Abstract
Accurate planning and calculation of reinforcement steel requirements are essential to ensure structural strength. Through analysis and calculation of reinforcement steel requirements, project implementers can plan material procurement more efficiently, reduce the risk of implementation errors in the field, and ensure safe and economical building structures. The purpose of this study is to identify the methods of reinforced steel work implementation and analyze the reinforcement steel requirements for the Villa Nyanyi 4 project. This study is a quantitative descriptive study. The primary data used consists of reinforcement steel work implementation methods obtained through observation and interviews. The secondary data includes project identification, shop drawings, and material types. Data analysis was conducted by calculating the volume of reinforcement steel work for Foot Plates, pedestal columns, sills, columns, floor slabs, stairs, and structural beams. The research results indicate that the reinforcement steel implementation method begins with site preparation, measurement, and formwork construction, followed by cutting, bending, and assembling the reinforcement steel according to the design drawings. The reinforcement steel is then tied with wire mesh at specified intervals and diameters as per the technical specifications. The calculation of reinforcement steel requirements for the Foot Plate, pedestal columns, footings, columns, stairs, and structural beams in the Villa Nyanyi 4 project are as follows: D13 reinforcing steel totaling 2,304.93 metres or 189 bars with a weight of
2.209,86 kg, and Ø8 reinforcing steel totaling 1,389.37 metres or 161 bars with a weight of 2,680.31 kg. Additionally, for the floor slab work, M6-type wire mesh was used in quantities of 21 pieces, with a total weight of 658.77 kg.
