Abstract

In constructing a balance in a building, certain materials are required, namely recycled materials. The purpose of this study is to identify the dominant factors influencing recycled materials on the quality of projects in the construction of senior high schools in Denpasar City and to analyse the influence of recycled materials on the construction of senior high schools in Denpasar City. This research was conducted using quantitative and qualitative designs. In this study, two types of data were used, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data: data collected independently by researchers in the field. The results of technical data in the field, documentation, and interviews were analysed to answer the problems in this study. Secondary data: this secondary data was obtained by conducting studies in the library of the Bali State Polytechnic on several references such as books, magazines, newspapers and articles. The data collection method used questionnaires and checklists. The instruments used in this study were stationery, mobile phones and laptops. Data analysis was carried out. Questionnaire data analysis used descriptive statistical methods, the data results were compared as ranking coefficients, then the ranking of each factor was determined by sorting the average values from the highest as ranking 1. Then analyse the recycled materials and sort them from largest to smallest. The results of the study show that the perceptions of the community and construction workers towards recycled materials greatly influence the decision to use these materials in projects, and that positive perceptions of recycled materials can arise when the community and construction workers understand that the use of these materials not only provides economic benefits.
