Abstract

In the Banyuwangi BMX Track project, there is a Start Hill Building that serves as the starting point for the BMX race. The building has two main parts: the upper structure and the lower structure. In the lower part, there are different types of foundations, one of which is the pile foundation. This study looks at how well the PDA test results match up with calculations done by hand, and it also checks the ways the work was done, which can influence how much time and money are needed. To gather information, they used observation, interviews, and asking for data. The study found that the maximum load the pile foundation can support, based on the PDA test, is 82.3 tons. However, using a direct method, the maximum load is 282.03 tons. The difference in these numbers comes from factors like soil type, weather conditions, and how long the soil has to rub against the pile. For the pile part of the project in the Banyuwangi BMX Track, it took 23 days and cost Rp. 175,979,930. The original plan was to finish in 21 days for Rp. 209,920,000. Even though there was a 2-day delay because of moving equipment and

bad weather, the main contractor still made a profit of Rp. 33,940,070, which is 16.17%.
