Abstract

In the implementation of construction projects, reinforcing steel material is a component that greatly influences the cost of a project. Reinforcing steel material in the composition of concrete is a component that determines the cost of a project. In the implementation of construction projects in the field, the use of reinforcing steel material often results in large amounts of material waste that greatly affects the cost of the construction project, therefore it is necessary to minimize the waste of reinforcing steel material. To be able to reduce the waste of reinforcing steel material, it can be done by optimizing the need for reinforcing steel so as to reduce the remaining pieces that can be formed. The purpose of this study is to calculate the need and percentage of waste of reinforcing steel and to calculate the comparative cost of the Budget Plan with the analysis carried out. The method used to optimize the need for reinforcing steel is the bar bending schedule method. From this study, the results obtained are the need for D13 reinforcing steel as many as 444 bars and ø10 reinforcing steel as many as 482 bars. Then the remaining iron waste material produced is in the form of D13 reinforcing steel of 5.491, ø10 reinforcing steel of 4.114% and the difference between the Budget Plan and the analysis results is Rp. 36,360,506.00 (Thirty Six Million Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Five Hundred Six Rupiah)
