Material management planning encompasses material requirements, material quality, material
costs, and the quality of materials on-site. Effective selection and planning can achieve the project's goals
and objectives with efficient resource use and optimal results in terms of cost, quality, and time.
Inadequate management practices can lead to delays in project completion, cost overruns, and
construction quality issues. This study aims to develop material requirement planning, material
procurement, material storage, and material control systems for the project, by examining the case of the
construction of the Class II TPI Immigration Office building and infrastructure in Singaraja. Material
management planning begins with the selection of materials in accordance with technical specifications
and the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), calculating material requirements, scheduling material needs, material
procurement schedules, and material control systems. The data were analyzed using quantitative
descriptive analysis, and the results indicate a cost deviation between the planned material requirements
and the actual material needs in the field, resulting in a cost reduction is Rp. 877.171.914,- where the
initial planned material requirement cost was Rp. 12.415.468.294,- and the actual material requirement
in the field amounted to Rp. 11.538.296.381,-.
