Abstract

In multi-storey building construction projects, it is common to find the use of heavy equipment to assist in carrying out work. In determining which heavy equipment to use, it is necessary to do an analysis to find out which heavy equipment has superior productivity and is cheaper in cost. In this research, it was carried out by calculating the productivity and labor costs of the tools in the casting between the concrete pump and the concrete bucket. Data collection was carried out at the PT Tunas Jaya Sanur Sidakarya office building construction project. Observations were made by recording the duration of the work, the amount, and the labor-tool costs during the casting.

In the analysis of productivity and labor cost of casting slabs and beams when viewed in terms of overall productivity and ideal productivity, it is known that the use of a concrete pump in casting slabs and beams is superior to concrete buckets, in terms of ideal productivity. Meanwhile, in the cost analysis, it is known that labor costs and concrete pump equipment are cheaper than concrete buckets
