Abstract

Delayed completion of construction projects often leads to significant cost escalation and stands as a primary factor in project failure. This study aims to analyze project timeline acceleration and additional costs resulting from the augmentation of project resources using the Time Cost Trade Off method in the Proyek Pengembangan Gedung Rawat Inap Sekar Agung Rumah Sakit Ari Canti, Gianyar.Based on field data analysis, the project's progress indicated a delay with a deviation of - 0.76% in week 15. To address the potential for greater delay, researchers reduced work durations on critical paths through the Crashing method, utilizing Microsoft Project software. Worker productivity data was gathered from the field and processed using the Time Study method. Research findings reveal that augmenting project resources allows a 35-day acceleration in project timelines from the normal duration of 348 days, resulting in an optimal end duration of 313 days. The optimal cost incurred amounts to Rp31,568,037,631.00, resulting in a total cost savings of approximately Rp311,262,369.00
