Abstract

The development of the Indonesian industrial world in the construction sector is currently increasing rapidly. This affects the competition of scaffolding rental companies. However, until now there are still many construction projects that use bamboo scaffolding with various considerations for switching to scaffolding. The purpose of this study was to determine the cost and time comparison of using scaffolding and bamboo scaffolding in concrete column, floor plate, and beam structure work. This research was conducted at the Singamandawa Kintamani Market Development Project Phase I located on Jalan Raya Kintamani, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali by conducting field observations to obtain the necessary data. The results obtained from research on the Phase I Singamandawa Kintamani Market Development Project with an area of 490 m2, namely the total cost required for scaffolding is IDR 137,529,797.50, while for bamboo scaffolding it only costs IDR 91,456,977.50. The duration of the scaffolding installation and dismantling work was only 101 days, while the bamboo scaffolding took 121 days
