Project implementers always refer to the plans and time schedules that have been made, therefore problems will arise if there is a mismatch between the schedule that has been made and the actual implementation. The Bangli Medika Canti (BMC) Hospital Building Development Project is a four-story building project located on Jl. Tirta Giri L.C Subak Aya Bebalang which is experiencing delays in structural work, it is necessary to accelerate the implementation of the project to avoid excessive additional implementation costs. This study aims to determine the optimum time and cost required so that the project does not experience delays in its implementation.
The time cost trade off method is a method of accelerating the completion of a project by compressing the duration and still taking into account the addition in terms of cost to a minimum, so this method can be used to optimize the time and cost required for project implementation.
Based on the results of the analysis that has been made, the optimum time required for preparatory work and structural work with the addition of overtime working hours of 1 hour on work that is on the critical path is to get a duration reduction of 6 days from the normal duration of 217 days to 211 days and experience a decrease in costs from normal costs of IDR 4,598,262,655.54 to IDR 4,592,466,197.77 so that the project experiences cost savings of IDR 5,796,457.77
