Abstract

Construction projects are a series of work activities that have a high risk of work, one of which is a work accident. Hard work accidents in the construction industry occur every year. Meanwhile, relatively new occupational diseases, such as Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) increased by 40%, while 60% were a combination of accidents and other work-related diseases. Gotrak is generally caused by ergonomic hazards which are influenced by ergonomic factors. In addition to identifying ergonomic hazards based on these factors, it is also necessary to distribute questionnaires referring to SNI 9011:2021 concerning Measurement and Evaluation of Potential Ergonomic Hazards in the Workplace. However, the results of the implementation of these two regulations have not been optimal, this is due to a discrepancy between the results of distributing questionnaires to respondents and the photo documentation of workers' postures. Thus the results of this study state that the ergonomics hazard of the architectural work of the Batu City Main Market development project is related to the worker's body posture. While the category of the level of application of ergonomics for K3 architectural work based on the results of distributing satisfactory questionnaires with an average score of 1 – 2.727 (<3) which means safe working conditions, but based on the analysis of SNI 9011: 2021 concerning worker posture, working conditions are still found that require improvement . immediately, including wall masonry work and floor covering work.
