ANALISIS PENGARUH HAMBATAN SAMPING DAN FASILITAS PENYEBERANGAN PEJALAN KAKI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KAPASITAS JALAN DI PASAR SANGLAH, KOTA DENPASAR

Abstract

Denpasar city there are many traditional markets scattered in various regions. One of them is
Sanglah Market, the market often occurs congestion caused by side obstacles. From this problem,
researchers want to conduct research "Analysis of the Influence of Side Barriers and Pedestrian
Facilities to Increase Road Capacity in Sanglah Market, Denpasar City". The method used in this
research is the quantitative analysis method. This research focuses on the level of road service and
knowing the need or absence of facilities for crossings at research sites. To find out the level of
service of the road segment, it takes an Existing Performance Analysis of the road segment. The
results of the study obtained a value of saturation (DS) of 1.2, the DS value of side barriers had an
effect of 27% on road capacity. Then there is the level of "F". For the need or absence of facilities
for pedestrian crossings, analysis is required for the Type of Crossing Facility. The results of the
calculation obtained a value of PV² of 3,915 x 109 kend.people / hour, which means that the road
needs a crossing facility in the form of a pelican with protection. The alternative needed is in the
form of widening the road by eliminating parking areas located on the south side of the road and
removing side barriers. so that the level of service is "C" with a saturation degree value (DS) of
0.57.
