Abstract

The pedestrian path is one of the physical infrastructure infrastructure that is located side by
side with a traffic lane that is specifically used for pedestrians (pedestrian). In addition to
functioning as a pedestrian path, this path is also often used as a selling area for street vendors,
which can lead to reduced capacity of the sidewalk. Based on the topic of the problem, the
author is interested in conducting an Analysis of the Service Level for Pedestrians and Their
Arrangement around the Road at Sanglah Market. The method used in collecting research data
is quantitative analysis method. This study focuses on the level of service and arrangement of
pedestrian paths at the research location. To determine the level of service of pedestrian paths,
data and calculations of pedestrian characteristics are needed which are then analyzed. From
the results of this study, it was found that the level of service for the pedestrian path at the
research location had LOS D, which means that pedestrians are starting to be limited to walking
with a normal flow, and can potentially cause conflict. After making efforts to widen the
sidewalks on the south and north sides to 3 meters, the value of the pedestrian flow on the south
side of the sidewalk is 43.56 org/m/min and the north side is 45.19 org/m/min. From the
calculation results obtained LOS B, which means the pedestrian path is still comfortable for
pedestrians to pass
