Abstract

The carrying capacity of the soil for the foundation of highway pavement is very
important because it will affect the ability of the road to achieve its maximum function.
To get a good foundation, you must use foundation materials that meet the conditions that
have been determined and the materials selected are class A aggregates and Ungasan
Limestone. To find out the value of the material, CBR, Proctor, and Abrasion tests must
be done. After getting the results of the test, it can be known which layer of foundation
class A aggregate can be used and find out in what foundation layer Ungasan Limestone
can be used.
