Abstract

Roads are a basic need in community activities. This is because roads as
part of transportation infrastructure have an important role in the economic, sociocultural,
environmental, political, defense and security fields. Therefore, it is necessary
to plan optimal road construction and meet technical requirements according to
function, volume and traffic characteristics so that the development can be of maximum
use for the development of the surrounding area. but over time the road will experience
a decrease in conditions according to the increasing age of the road so that it will
become an obstacle in the smooth running of a journey. One of the damaged roads,
namely the road on Jalan Kebo Iwa Selatan, after conducting a site survey there were
several examples of damage on the road, including: Cracks, holes, bumps and patches.
To handle the widening of road damage, the selection of a good method to deal with
these problems is carried out using the Bina Marga method. From the results of the
traffic volume survey, the average daily volume is 1621.53 Smp/day. The road damage
that occurred was 2520.15 m² or 32% of the total road. From the assessment of the
Bina Marga method, the category of periodic repairs and road repair methods is
determined using the standard and overlay method, where with CBR data obtained in
the field and looking for CBR 90% with a graph, the design CBR results are 7.22 and
after the count, the overlay layer thickness is 7cm thick. The budget plan for road
repairs using AHSP Denpasar was obtained at a cost of Rp. 501,268,214.86 with a
processing time of 3 weeks
