Abstract

The increasing need for concrete for infrastructure has led to innovations regarding the
use of materials as a substitute for aggregate in concrete. One alternative material that
can be used as a substitute for coarse aggregate in concrete is tabas stone waste and
concrete waste. Utilization of waste as a substitute for coarse aggregate in concrete
mixtures has been studied regarding the compressive strength of 28-day-old concrete.
For the number of specimens made as many as 27 pieces with a quality of 20 MPa, 25
MPa, and 30 MPa. The test object is made in the form of a cylinder with a size of d = 150
mm and h = 300 mm.
This study aims to determine the compressive strength of concrete and the costs produced
using tabas stone waste and concrete waste. The results of this study get the average
compressive strength, namely for tabas stone f'c 20 MPa gets 26.16 MPa, f'c 25 MPa gets

24.97 MPa, f'c 30 MPa gets 27.82 MPa, for waste concrete f 'c 20 MPa gets 23.51 MPa,
f'c 25 MPa gets 25.67 MPa, f'c 30 MPa gets 31.14 MPa. The cost of concrete produced
is for tabas stone f'c 20 MPA obtained Rp. 5,088,419, f'c 25 MPa is Rp. 5,146,982, f'c 30
MPa is Rp. 5,070,214, for waste concrete f'c 20 MPa is Rp. 4,597,459. , f'c 25 MPa got
IDR 4,684,702, and f'c 30 MPa got IDR 4,666.371
