Abstract

Construction projects are a dynamic and risky field. Denpasar is currently
being pushed to have a priority scale for the construction of public high schools. Because
so far in Denpasar it has always been crucial with the acceptance of new students at the
SMA/SMK level. One of the efforts of the Bali provincial government to anticipate these
problems is the construction of the SMAN 9 Denpasar building. In this study, we want to
evaluate the risk factors for construction project delays with the aim of knowing the
dominant risk factors that cause delays and solutions to deal with the dominant risks that
occur. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis method. The measuring
instrument of this study used a questionnaire and interviews with respondents. From the
analysis results, it is found that the most dominant risk that has an impact on the time of
project implementation is the risk of labor with an average frequency value of 13.20 and
an average consequence value of 16.40, where the dominant of the labor risk statement
is low labor productivity. due to lack of experience with the percentage of frequency who
answered often 80% and 20% answered very often, while the percentage of consequences
who answered large was 47% and 53% answered very large. Solutions to dominant risk
can be done by recruiting new workers who have good skills and skills and placing
workers according to their respective skills, recruiting workers who have at least a
competency certificate, and providing training to workers according to field needs
