Abstract

Scheduling is a very important part of project completion. In the
implementation of the construction project, various things can occur which then cause an
increase in implementation time so that the project completion becomes late. This
research will optimize the scheduling of the construction project of SMPN 14 Denpasar
which delays due to the method of PERT (Project Evaluation and Review Technique).
Based on the alternative time obtained then the standard deviation and variance of the
critical path are used to calculate the success rate (probability) of the project. Based on
the results of the analysis, it was found that the time for working on the structure of SMPN
14 Denpasar could be completed in the span of 87 – 107 days. The duration of project
implementation using the PERT method with a 95% probability level is 103 days. From
this value, the success rate is high so that the implementation of the project in the field is
less likely to fail by 5%.
