This study aims at analyzing the technology which is used as the innovation of learning and teaching a language, especially English. The development of technology nowadays using media of technology for the student’s process of learning and teacher in teaching English. The movement using printed works and literatures towards internet supporting the blended learning. This trend seems to give an interaction and impressive feeling, especially students to concentrate with their subject since the technological use are involved in their daily activities as users of the technology and assisted by their teachers or lecturers. The description of study consists of: (1) the understanding of using the media for a language with WebCorp with corpus data and its implementation of English including the translation into Indonesian at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, (2) measuring and giving description for the ability of students from the results of WebCorp search, and (3) developing the strategy for learning English especially the texts or terms related to agriculture. The methods were using qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitatively, it was conducted through the techniques of observation, note taking for the data analysis based on the results of English including the translation into Indonesian in order to know their understanding of the language. However, the results of searching measured quantitatively in percentage to know the students’ achievement of finding words or phrases of English related with agriculture. The study showed that the whole students have the ability to use this technology in learning English and its translation into Indonesian. The ten groups can use the WebCorp media with 100% abilities, 4 rate of category evaluation (excellent), and marks around 85 up to 100. In addition, the translation of terms can be conducted with 3 (good) and 4 (excellent) rates. They also have the same percentage of 50% for their translation. These can be concluded that strategy of using the media have given innovation of learning a language, especially English and its understanding through the translation.
