This research aims to examine errors in the use of Indonesian spelling on signboards, banners, billboards, information boards in public spaces in Ungasan Village, Badung Regency. Data collection was carried out by direct observation, documentation and analysis from various sources. Some of the errors obtained were 8 errors in the use of prepositions, 4 errors in the use of punctuation, 2 errors in the use of capital letters, and 7 errors in writing. There were 21 errors found in the surrounding environment. However, this is only part of the findings, it is hoped that the role of the government and higher education institutions can socialize the use of correct spelling, so that this does not always become a culture in society. Guidance is needed to strengthen the image of professionalism and trust in the information provided, especially in the Ungasan Village environment, Badung Regency.
