Abstract

Dance drama can be used as a medium for teaching English in the world of education. Dance drama is used as a medium to improve students' English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. This research is intended to analyze the effectiveness of using dance drama in improving the listening skills of ISI Denpasar students in learning English and how dance drama can facilitate improving the speaking skills of ISI Denpasar students. The research methods used include classroom observations, interviews with students, and evaluation of learning outcomes based on the use of dance drama. It is hoped that the findings from this research will provide new insights into innovative approaches in teaching English that involve elements of the performing arts. The results of this research show that dance drama has proven effective in improving the listening and speaking skills of ISI Denpasar students, creating an active and interesting learning environment.
